a recorded message describing known campus backbone or general Internet
connectivity problems. It does not provide information on intradepartmental
problems, as those issues are handled by departmental support staff, not
the campus NOC.
If your problem involves security issues, network abuses, or email abuses, please refer to the OIT Security section.
If you are an individual experiencing problems with the UCSB network,
please contact your departmental support staff. Work is underway to develop
an online support locator tool. Meanwhile, contact your department head or
MSO to identify your support provider.
If you are a Network Administrator, you can contact the NOC via the methods
that were provided at the time that you received your connection to the
backbone.
