Absolutely.  The goal of this brave new NGI world is to define the issues
and try networking ideas no one has attempted before.  This means that for
most of the real problems that need to be solved, the high speed networks
will be at the bleeding edge.  That's why supportive vendors who are
willing to go the extra mile to work with the project are so vitally
important.

This is yet to be solved.  In the proposal, section C.5 I think, we
discussed a variety of ways to handle QoS early on.  Clearly, the robust
code ain't in the hardware yet.  But, you can cobble some stuff together by
bandwidth allocation and ATM.  I don't know what the vBNS folks are
considering (maybe hoping this will all go away soon :<)....), but that
would certainly be a factor in any local decision of QoS technique.

Not exactly my issue, methinks.    Once you get your conclusions from other
campuses, I'd be happy to stick them up on the CENIC web site.
